Three Ways to Incorporate the Ancient Oils of Scripture into Your Day

You have these bottles of oil in your hands and you know they are supposed to be good to help you with all sorts of things, but where do you start?

1. Spiritual Connection: Start your day by incorporating the Ancient Oils of Scripture into your meditation or prayer routine. Begin with Frankincense, known as the "holy anointing oil," to foster a sense of grounding and spiritual connection. Apply a few drops to your temples or diffuse it in your sacred space. Follow this with Myrrh, which has long been used for its purifying properties. Mix a few drops with a carrier oil and apply it to your wrists and heart. This will help you feel centered and open your heart to spiritual growth.

2. Enhance Your Skincare: The Ancient Oils of Scripture also offer incredible benefits for your skin. Consider adding Cedarwood oil to your skincare routine, as it was often used in biblical times for its cleansing and rejuvenating qualities. Mix a few drops with your favorite carrier oil or lotion and massage it onto your face and body. For an added boost, try using Frankincense, a precious oil described in the Bible as being used in anointing rituals. Add a few drops to your night cream or facial serum to promote healthy, youthful-looking skin.

The Frankincense tree (Boswellia carterii) is first scored to cause the resin to surface and eventually dry for harvesting by hand.

The Frankincense resin is steam distilled for 3 days at 110º to slowly extract the precious oil.  True authentic Frankincense's scent is absolutely beautiful, impressing you straight to your heart and soul.  If you see a bottle of Frankincense and the price says $7.95 run away FAST!  For all the work, effort, time and love that goes in to getting Frankincense to you in a bottle, it is so worth the price Young Living is asking for it.

3. Create Aromatic Blends: Another way to incorporate the Ancient Oils of Scripture into your daily life is by creating aromatic blends that can be diffused or used topically. Blend Frankincense and Myrrh with a floral oil like Rose or Ylang Ylang for a calming and uplifting aroma. Diffuse this blend in your home or office to create a serene and peaceful environment. Alternatively, combine Cedarwood, Cypress, and Myrtle for a grounding and refreshing blend that can be applied to your wrists or diffused during meditation or yoga practices. Embrace the power of these ancient oils and let their unique scents enhance your daily experiences.
