Good morning & Happy Monday to you!
I wanted to share with you this morning what my routine is for filling my diffusers and getting those wonderful oils in the air.
(Note: Everything in my posts that is underlined and in red are direct links to the items I mention. It's so that you can easily find what I mention so you can put it on your Wish List, on your Loyalty Rewards Order or your Quick Order.)
When I was so very sick for 4 months at the beginning of 2023, this became a very important lifeline for me. With all my breathing concerns, these oils helped me not only with my breathing, but also with my overall health.
How?
When you breathe oils in, they bypass the gut and go directly to the brain and then to all the areas in the body via the bloodstream where they are needed. Oils have been found in the bloodstream within 28 seconds in measurable amounts. This is how:
We each have receptors in our body, all over our bodies, that fit together with certain oils. Some oils may work for me, but not for you, and vise versa because the Lord made each one of us so very different and unique. This is why when one oil does not work completely for one issue, we move on to another one. For example, some days Lavender helps me go to sleep. Other days I need multiple layers of help with Stress Away on my neck, Peace and Calming on my chest, and Lavender with Cedarwood in my diffuser. It really depends from one day to the next what is happening, how much exercise and physical work I've done, or stress as well.
This is a lot of the reason I begin my day on a good note with starting my diffusers!
In my dining room, I have an Aria diffuser sitting on this 2 Tier Bamboo Lazy Susan. Today I have 4 drops of Nutmeg and 10 drops of Thieves in this one. It is set at intermittent and for 12 hours. There is a remote control to it and I can hook it up to a Bluetooth speaker if I want to, but I haven't done that yet. With all the other noises in the house I just don't want to add to it, so I leave it at a minimum. The least expensive way to get an Aria diffuser is to order it in your Aria Starter Bundle. There are other diffusers that you can grab, but this is just 4 of them.
I have all my Vitality oils on this lazy susan so they qre all in one place to put inside a gel cqp or to use in my cooking.
In my living room I have a Dewdrop diffuser. I don't have any reason for that particular diffuser being there, but that it runs for 4 hours and shuts off. I don't have to go back and turn it off, or be concerned about it. I can set it up and forget it. This morning I have 6 drops of Stress Away and 4 drops of Pine in it.
I love the blue hue of this older diffuser. It has one button and it's very simple to operate.
Diffuser Hack: If you have a large room and a small diffuser, place a small oscillating fan behind the diffuser so it blows the scents further around your large room! Voila!
In my office I go with whatever I'm feeling drawn to. Sometimes it's simply Vanilla oleoresin and Lime, but today was Copaiba and Tangerine. I know, very different scents, but it's what I was drawn to today! This diffuser is the Desert Mist diffuser. It's offered in the Premium Starter Bundle like the Dewdrop diffuser above. It's a little more decorative and there are colors for the day that you can use if you'd like. You can have it set to go through all the colors, too.
When we have diffusers and oils set out throughout our house it's easy to pick them up and use them!
Lastly, I have diffusers in my bathrooms, too! This one is the Sweet Aroma Diffuser. It is no longer available on the website, unfortunately. I found this one UNused in it's original box at Goodwill, of all places! So, if you find them at yard sales or thrift stores grab them! They're wonderful quality diffusers that last a long time!
In this diffuser I added 4 drops of Lushious Lemon essential oil blend. It's helping to make the bathroom smell better and of all the places a diffuser is needed, it's in the bathroom! You can also find this wonderful blend in a Starter Bundle with the Macron Diffuser called For the Love of Lemons Starter Bundle.
I also have a video about how to clean your diffuser available for free. It's part of the education I offer for everyone who comes to talk with me about essential oils.
I have this video and many others for your information to watch at your leisure on the Scents Ability Education Group on Facebook. Let me know when you'd like to join that group! I'd love to add you!
